  • Vitamins for cataracts -- I just turned 50 in August and was told 2 years ago that I had cataracts in both eyes. The doctor both a optomotrist and opthamologist both said I would need surgery within a year or so. I went to the health food store and started taking OcuGuardPlus with luten made by twinlab last fall. My last visit to the doctor was last week. I received wonderful news. My cataracts have stopped growing for now and I didn't need a change of prescription. He told me to continue the vitamins. He said at this rate I may not need surgery for 6 or more years. He was amazed. I also wear sunglasses when I am outside. previously they were growing very fast. I just wanted to share this good news with everyone. Also my husband is tasking vandyl for his diabetes and is doing better also. Thanks to Mary Ann Bergman bailey@dayton.net
