My name is Darnell and I am a 29yo female. Back in march 2003 I began to have sever neck pain. I went thru several medical test, and many prescription drugs, before the doctors found that I have a herinated disk in my neck. I found that pretnazone helped relive the pain, but the side affects were not good i would not sleep for 2-3 days at a time.
In june 2003 i recieved a cortizone shot, it helped a lot, but my immune system was so weak from the shot that i had a flu for the first 3 weeks. Also I noticed that i began to bruise very easily. But i can say for 2 months i felt great,and i did not have to take a bunch of drugs every day just to function.
Its really hard to find out all the side affects of the cortizone shot, I honestly dont think doctors know all the adverse affects. If anyone has info on the severe side affects of the cortizone shot e-mail me please
