My son has eczema. Two weeks ago, the doctor did a test called RAST. This test will show waht food you are allergic to. The doctor has to know what to order though. We found out that he is allergic to milk, peanuts, egg white and house dust. For 1 1/2 week, I stopped giving him milk and egg. Guess what? The eczema is gone. Althought no one knows what causes ezcema, it is more prominent in people with a history of allergy and asthma in the family. Protopic really works, our patients are doing very well on it. Good luck.
