: HI! I have been reading everyone's notes about these heart palpitations. I am 33 years old and I came down with this problem when I was 26. During a very stressful time in my life. I was drinking and smoking and living on caffiene. I ate sugary foods for every meal. I didn't sleep very well either. I went to the doctor when they bacame so frequent that they occured all day long. It was scary. My EKG was all over the chart. All I could do was cry because I was sure I was gonna die. The doctor put me on dietary restrictions. No sugar, no caffiene, less stress, no drinking or smoking all of which I did. Within about 3 months they were gone. And boy was I glad to see them go.
: Then they came back again. This time I was 32 and again my life was on a rollercoaster. I had been out of work for a while as a result of what thought was severe anxiety attacks. But then something really tramatizing happened and the heart fluttering started up all over again with a vengence.
: I have had them now for about a year. I have not seen a doctor this time because I figure if they are going to kill me they would have done so by now. But I have experiemented with lots of thinkgs. I take alot of vitamins. I found that cutting back on the calciom and magnesuim supplements has helped a little. Also , not eating regular meals or not eating enough protein and too much carbohydrates will get those palps happeninh more frequently with more strength. Alot of times , I am jarred awake by these flutters and palps in the middle of the night if I have eaten or done something I should not have done.
: But I am a firm believer in the fact that if you are having any kind of symptom , there is an underlying cause. I mean to say that I have done alot of reading about toxins in the body and how they can cause a myriad of symptoms a mile long. I think most peoples eating habits and life stresses and lack of nutrition is the culprit of many unexplainable health issues. I have also done a great deal of reading on the topic of a disorder called candidiasis of yeast disorder. I urge everyone to look this up on the interent and find out what you can about it. I believe it lies at the root of alot of problems. The more I follow there suggestions the better I feel. I really think there is pobably nothing wrong with our hearts but rather a signal from our body that we are in general not healty.

---wow, thanks for all the information. I wish i could take on your outlook, because i live in constant fear, and avoid doing things with my family and going on vacations. If you have any other helpful info please email me,,,, maureen
