If you are just looking for a j-o-b, then this might not be for you. I went to work for this company a few years ago, and within about 3 months, I had my own business. I have to be honest with you though, MY business ended up failing, but the fault was my own. As with any business, it was really hard work, and obviously, I wasn't willing to put forth the continual effort that it takes to make ANY business successful. Anyone that has checked this out, and can't figure out the concept after a couple days isn't Scentura material anyway. It is very simple. Things might have changed in the past few years, but this is how it was. They hire groups of people, 30-40, about 3 times a week. Then, as part of the training, you have to go out and move some of the product. After all, if you can't do it, then how can you train anyone else. Within a few days, people will be dropping out, for whatever reasons. My opinion is laziness. Regardless, out of every group of 30-40 people there are 1 or 2 that make it. These people "got it", and end up with their own business. The one thing I forgot to mention, was that during this period when everyone was dropping out, they ALL sold some perfume!! To family members, strangers, whomever. THAT is what it is all about! Those that figure it out, end up with their own business, repeat the process they have been taught, and have the opportunity to make a nice living, in an extremely positive environment. Even though I didn't make it for the long haul, the positive thought process that I learned, and the attitude that if there is something I want out there, then all I have to do is put forth the effort, and go for it, has stuck with me to this day! By the way, I was 45 when I started, and it is an experience that I am extremely happy that I went through. It is not for everyone, but if you are the type of person that wants to control your life and income, then go for it. If not, then it is not for you. Also, I think their products are great, which is how I happen to be writing this. I was looking for the closest office while I am here on vacation. Those of you that think it is a scam, look deep inside and admit that you just didn't want what they have to offer, or are just too lazy to put the effort forth. It is always easier to blame others for our shortcomings or failures.
