Hi I answered an ad in the Sun-Sentinel Newspaper (Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida.) It says GENERAL - Must like $$$. Music & fun. FT, No exp.
Call Sharon. 954-267-0664. I got an appointment and went to the
office. I smelled perfume in the hall way. I got to the office and a
paper sign on the door said, "M & S Enterprises." She had a large
speaker playing dance music. She gave me a clip board with a one page,
one sided form to fill out. The question that stuck in my mind was,
"How do you rate yourself? 1-10" and another one asked something like,
"How much money would you like to take home in a week?" Normal job
applications don't ask those questions and are usual very detailed.
I wondered why they only wanted to know the last job I had instead of
the last 4-5 like most applications ask.

I thought it strange that there was no paperwork around the office.
Just a desk and a phone. One poster on the back of the door that said,
"Scentura Creations." Sharon mentioned the company was looking for
"managers" and "this is just the branch office" "They are based in
Atlanta, GA." She said I could make $30-$40,000. a year. First of all
if that were the case, why do they have a empty, bare looking office?
It looks like they just moved in. I was told to call back and I did,
and a guy named Mike answered the phone. He said to return for a second
interview next week on Thursday, 11:30-2:00 pm and bring paper and pen.
I never saw him during the first interview, he was in the next room with
the door shut. Which I thought was odd. You would think that he would
want to speak to the applicants. I guess it's because they just need
anyone and it doesn't matter what qualifications you have.

I started to wonder about all of this and I got concerned, I couldn't
sleep last night. So I called her this morning and asked if I could
meet with her again today, she said she would be out of the office. I
said that I wanted to ask her a few more questions and to not sound
paranoid, I mentioned that I had friends who were interested also. (I
don't.) She got slightly defensive and said that they are registered
with the Better Business Bureau and that they have a web site. (I
visited both today.) But I also found a bunch of scam alerts. I am
glad she said to check the internet. She spelled the company Centura
Creations. I found the real spelling Scentura Creations.

I for one am definitely not going to the second interview! Just so
anyone has plans to visit them, DON'T! They are located 1925 Floranada
Rd., Suite 219, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33308 The woman's name is Sharon
Stalford. The business card she gave me was misspelled and you could
tell that they bought the business card paper from an office supply
store and printed it on a computer. You can see the perforations.

Thanks for posting your information so others won't be scammed. I
appreciate it. Robin
