The Scentura opportunity is for real. I have run an office for six years and have promoted a multitude of offices underneath me. Your husband will be consumed by the business as Mike Barrick says... physically, emotionally, and mentally... in my experience though, it does pay off! I run my own business where I teach people how to make money. I totally agree with the fact that your husband should be straight with his people (no bait and switch with advertising). If you are honest with the people that you bring in to work for you, they will be loyal and dependable in return. As far as the "weak piece of s***" comment, I can say that you should never treat someone with disrespect if this business is "not for them". On the other hand, the reason why a lot of people can't do this business is because of their mental attitude (negative), work ethic (lazy), or persistence (quitters). In our business, we don't dwell on negatives... but we do address them so that the people in the business can rationalize why some people just don't make it. You can adress negativity with tact. I believe that if your husband works hard, then everything that they say will happen to him will happen. Don't be confused though... it won't get easy just because he gets an office. When he opens the doors to his own business, everthing that can go wrong, will go wrong! (Murphy's Law) If he maintains a positive attitude and listens to his promoting owners, then things will always work out (they have for me). I wish you luck and happiness.
