On the morning of May 9, 2002, I was leaving to go on a "Fun Car" trip (go out of town and peddle the product). I was told in second interview that quotas were not set, just goals set by us. At 5 pm we had our call in and didn't have any sold yet and David made us come back. The next day, I went to work and wanted to do good so I could make up for all the gas I wasted the day before. Instead, I just couldn't sell. I got upset and didn't even go back on Saturday to return product. They had me so brain washed that I thought my parents would make fun of me if I failed, so I left town and didn't call anyone and just drove. I didn't want to see anyone I knew, for the sheer fact that I wasn't a good con artist. Now don't get me wrong, I love the product, but I'm not going to lie about it to make it sell. I do regret not being able to prove my family and friends wrong about the company, but at the same time I'm glad I got out when I did.
