Not too long ago my Grandmother was visited by a lady that said she remember my grandmother from a meeting they had several years ago. My Grandmother did not remember this lady and asked her how she could help her. The Lady proceeded to tell my Grandmother that she was lonely and wanted to be friends. My Grandmother politely dismissed this, and never heard from the lady again.
A couple months after that strange encounter with the lady, my Grandmother was visited by a gentleman and "his mother". Although my Grandma locks her doors when she is in the front yard, she is getting elderly and forgetful, and she allowed this stranger into her home. He said he use to live down the road, and told my Grandmother his name, and the name was correct of someone who did live down the road years previous. Although he did not ask about any other neighbors who had lived there he told my grandmother intimate details about her life that he could not have possibly known, just by being an old neighbor.
I am worried that she might be getting involved in something that will not benefit her. If anyone has ever heard of a scam like this, please let me know. Thank you
