my mother, Millie Blanks is in your facility, I am visiting her this weekend.
Is there any problem with my bringing some fruit and cookies..."a goody basket" for her?
Is she allowed to go out of the home with me for lunch?
Thank you,
Sylvia

I researched your organization on the Foundation Directory online services. Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch provides year round services to children and families living with life threatening and or critical illness. The information on your organization indicated that your foundation funds endowments. As we are striving to ehance and expand our services, we are too, looking to the future to insure our programs for future generations. Sharing your vision to improve the quality of life, no one who participated in any Ranch programming ever pays a fee. Please visist our web site at www.doublehranch.org to see a complete listing or our programs and see some of our families and children in actions.
I would very much like to visit someone in your foundation office to more fully explain the Ranch's overall mission and see if the possibility for funding might exist. I can be reached at 528 696 5921. ext 239 and would be very happy to speak with a representative of Eastern Star
My husband, his father and grandfather before him were very active and continue to be part of the Mason's in our community

opinions about being a senior citizenReply to this Comment
Hi,
I am a college student at the University of Washington and am trying to pursue a career in social work and am currently taking a social work course that requires an interview with an elderly person (older tha 70yrs). So, was wondering if anyone would be interested in answering the following questions for me, it would be helpful. The questions I would like to ask are:
1) How old are you now?
2) Where do you live now? Who do you live with? Are you satisfied with this living arrangement? If not, what arrangement would you prefer? What prevents you from living where (with whom) you prefer?
3) What advice would you give me (someone in their 20s) for preparing to grow older and live a good older age?
4) Is there anything you might have done (in terms of your health, income, social life) to prepare yourself for aging?
5) What is your opinion about Social Security? Do you think it will be around as I age? What are the major problems with Social Security?
6) There is a lot in the news right now about plans for prescription drug coverage for the elderly. What do you think about these plans? Is affording prescription drugs a problem for you?
7) Does religion, or sprituality, play a role in your life now? How so? Is the role it plays greater or less than when you were younger?
8) What are some things you like to do (hobbies, work)?
9) When you were younger how did you plan for financial matters for you older years? Do you wish you had planned differently? How?
10) What do you see as the major national policies (debates in Congress) for example Medicare that affect the elderly? What do you think about this policy and its impact on you life?
my email is maggiesze1@yahoo.com
Thanks so much
Maggie

Mother-in-law moving inReply to this Comment
My mother-in-law would like to sell her house and join us in building a new home with her needs met. She wants a house that gives her as well as my wife and I a master suite on first floor. This will cost more than we want to invest. She is willing to pay the extras How do we do this without losing our home ownership or getting hit with taxes for gifts. Mom's part would be $125,000 to build extra HELP!!

try craigslist.com great website easy to use pick your state on the right and post your RV (or anything for that matter) to the classified adds. Much easier than ebay and you don't pay anything. I hire through them all the time! Good luck!
