- Senior Citizens' Equity Act -- increases the amount Social Security recipients, 65 to 69 years of age, can earn before loss of some benefits. Increases from the present $11,160 (95') to $15,000 (96') and each year thereafter till $30,000 in the year 2000. The bill also provides tax incentives to encourage the purchase of long-term care insurance and makes it easier for seniors to reserve retirement communities for adults only without facing lawsuits.
