Cluckster
-- by Anon -- sent by Don Mulford steldon@auracom.com

This little poem was published anonymously in a newspaper several years ago:-

If you produce some useful things
You doubtless want to sell them
But folks won't come to you unless
Persistently you tell them.

The hen has known this secret long
For there's no creature wiser,
She cackles when she's laid her egg,
The world's first advertiser!
