Where is God, and Where Does He Live?
-- by Shelby Forrest - Copyright 2000 -- sforrest@earthlink.net

The young lad with his grandpa sat
On the side of a shady hill.
But for the breeze and chirping of birds,
All else was quiet and still.

To his grandpa the boy then turned his head,
A quizzical look on his face.
"When was God born, and where does he live,
"And what is the name of His place?"

The old man smiled at the questions formed
In the boy's young active mind.
Questions for which the answers would be
Most difficult to define.

"There was presence of God long before time began,
"In a form that our eyes cannot see.
"All places, wherever, is where he resides
"Forever is where He will be."

"The galaxies God had created before,
"Then the Earth was formed ,and the seas.
"All things were shaped by the touch of His hand.
"He created both you and me."

"Why," the little boy started to ask,
But his grandpa raised his hand.
"For all of his creatures God has great love
"That much I can understand."

"All else about God I accept on faith
"I believe this to be the Truth:
"If man love's god and his fellow man,
"God's existence should then be proof.
