Wouldn't It Be Nice
-- by Vance Oliphant - Copyright 1998 -- vanlorol@webtv.net

Wouldn't it be nice in a world free of fear,
Where good news would be the only news one would hear?

A world where children could run and pay,
With little or danger of going astray?

A world in which we all nice to each other;
And children grewup with both father and mother?

A world in which smiles would rule the day;
And people would help each other along the way?

A world in which war would be an obsolete would;
And plow shares would truly be made from the sword?

A world which would become more gentle with time;
No abuse of children and the streets free of crime?

A world in which no new walls would be built;
Prisons would perish...a world free of guilt?

A world in which, a jow to behold;
No one would be hungry...no one would be cold?

A world in which life would be based on love;
Along with blessings from up above?

Ponder these thoughts just once or twice.
If these things could happen.....wouldn't it be nce?
