If I Had A Choice
-- by Bonnie J. Duckworth Copyright 1999 -- bonniej@gte.net

I wonder how it would feel to be able to fly,
to soar with the birds far up in the sky.
With vision unemcumbered, what a glorious view.
If I had a choice, that’s what I’d do.

What if I could wander with with wild beasts and not be harmed,
if in my presence, they were not alarmed.
Imagine playing with the animals in a zoo!
If I had a choice, that’s what I’d do.

If by thinking, I could go anyplace that I choose,
what a venture, what would I have to loose?
I’d see Venus, Mars and other worlds too.
If I had a choice, that’s what I’d do.

Things that our small minds are uncapable of thinking,
we could do all without even blinking!
If you believe in God, and have faith His words are true.
You do have a choice, these things you can do!
