Upon the parchment
Of ones heart
Words penned
Forever stay.

Among the tempest
Inked in swirl
Thoughts bend
Emotions sway.

When I, not pompous
In my stride
Stroke quill,
Allusions rise.

Lament not writings
Closed eyes be
In peace
Soft falls demise.
