An Internet Dummy
-- by cassw@direct.ca with apologies to Joyce Kilmer

I think that I shall never see
An internet dummy quite like me
Who haunts the net both night and day
To search the places I might stay.

For there is one thing I've been told
To download, is my ultimte goal
o'er deserts wild and mountains bench
I search for knowledge my thirst to quench.

For hours and hours I surf and think
Perchance, I might find a missing link
And after all is said and done
I've searched the web, I've had some fun.

I watch for Newbies Where ere I go
The reason why... I do not know
The internet thrives for fools like me
and only a power outage will set me free.
