God's Garden
-- by Janet Wheeler - Copyright 1997 -- ronl@planetlink.net

Butterflies and bees,
Flowers and trees.

Spanish moss and misletoe,
On gnarled tree limbs grow.

Purple hued Pansies with a pretty face,
A climbing vine known as Silver Lace.

A beautiful rainbow arches across the sky,
Gentle summer rains keep things from getting dry.

Joyfully running barefoot are lads and lasses,
Through dewey fresh, wild tall grasses.

A chipmunk and a lovely little fawn,
Enjoying the freshness of the dawn.

A wee grass snake hanging from a tree,
On a Dogwood blossom is a honey bee.

On a peaceful pond Lily Pads float,
While children play there with their little boat.

Fluffy clouds drift along in a gentle wind,
The peace of it all will your spirit mend.

Up in the heavens the sky is so blue,
God seems to be saying, "I created all this for you."
