God-size

I looked beyond the rainbow
He had thrown over the rain
And saw as through a window
Space with drops of light,
It looked like rain again.
Could these clouds of light,
Galaxies that clutter up the night,
Sketch out a universe so big
He is out of sight?
This god of mine is large
With worlds to oversee.
The parochials take care of sin,
Him I need as big as I can get him
To help me through the rain.
