Grandma finds her comfort
in the bible by her bed,
she reads the psalms and stories
and the words of Christ in red.

She's seen much in her lifetime
of sorrow, joy, and pain,
but hope is where her heart lives
she's not one to complain.

It seems when days are darkest
her faith is stronger still,
for in her prayers she sees the light
that shows the Father's will.

I have learned much from her example
of God's amazing grace,
and I have seen His perfect love
in grandma's smiling face...
