Guardian Angel
-- by Anna Mae Wittig Copyright 1998 -- akwittig@atlantic.net

We each have a Guardian Angel,
She reports to God above,
She protects us from all evil,
Safe within His love.

She's not allowed to leave our side,
No matter what we do,
Thought you might not always see her,
She's watching over you.

One nice clear night, when there's no clouds,
For her to hide behind,
Look close..... and way, way up there,
I'm sure that you will find,

One of those stars just twinkled,
For it's not a star at all.
It's your Guardian Angel winking,
And watching, in case you fall.
