Hair
-- by Dorothy Costello -- Copyright 1997 -- DOT.COS@worldnet.att.net

My hair is grey, but I don't care
Some poor folks have NO hair.
"Poor Folks?" they say, "The joke's on you!
We don't ever have to do
All the things you guys go through
To wash, and cut, and curl and dye,
All of that would make us cry.

We never have a bad hair day.
A big relief, we all would say
We wash our faces-then our heads,
Then gladly fall into our beds
Without a worry, or a care
About tomorrows' messy hair."

Come to think about it now,
They have a valid point- AND HOW!
Tonight, before I go to bed,
B'gosh, I'm going to shave my head.
If I decide I look like hell,
I'll buy a wig-no one can tell.
