How Happy I Am
-- by James Cleek -- Copyright 1997 -- jcleek@aeneas.net

HOW HAPPY I AM

I've got a friend in Jesus
He's first in my life
His Life He gave, He died for me
That I might one day Heaven see

HOW HAPPY I AM

I try to keep His commandments
Love, Honor, and all the Rest
I want to live with God above
With the Saints, where all is Love

HOW HAPPY I AM

My desire, my every thought
Is to give a gift of Love
To serve my God day by day
And give Him praise in every way

HOW HAPPY I AM

When I die I hope to see
My name in the Book of Life
And God saying to enter in
A place where there is no sin

HOW HAPPY I WILL BE
