Heaven Sent
-- by Ellen Fair - Copyright 1999 -- fairelle@gte.net

An angel, tired of drifting
In the eyelet cotton sky
Saw a dreamer dreaming
With a teardrop in his eye
She wiped away the dreamer's pain
With an angel wing
And as she lulled him back to dreams
He heard the angel sing
And felt his soul be lifted high
To where the angels soar
Flying through forever now
With angels, evermore
