-- by John Hill -- Copyright 1997 -- jhill@itexas.net

I never hit a home-run
But there are other things I've done.
Even though, I never was one to crow
Some of my deeds you might know.

Let me say that when it's time to hang-em-up
Maybe then I will win my cup.
But never dwell on the deeds you've done
They will be forgotten with the setting sun.

Therefore, to you let me say,
Do the things you see and want to do today.
The reason for this is simple my friend
Because, today will not come again.
