Houseguests
-- by Bernard Gluck - Copyright 1999 -- bgluck@earthlink.net

At last, at last, they've gone away
Our houseguests all have left today
Our happy home is ours again
I've felt this good, I don't know when.

The bathroom now we can retrieve
It took so long for them to leave
They spread their stuff just everywhere
For pimples, acne, stuff for hair

I found these blond hairs in the sink
I'm sure they aren't mine, I think
The toilet paper's almost gone
And someone left the TV on.

I'm sick and tired of cartoons
And sitcoms made for dumb buffoons
The TV Guide, it can't be far
Now I can watch some rated R

I'll sit here in my bedtime clothes
And not afraid to pick my nose
I hope they left my favorite beer
I always like to have one near.

Well that's enough of all this bitchin'
Guess I'll see what's in the kitchen.
