Unexpected, to fast and seems to soon
Did God call for you when on a full moon?
Your loved ones waiting, with much pain
Their hearts aching, their minds wandering.

Your kindness and will to help
Will always be remembered.
Why, Why, Why?
No one can answer.

God only knows.
The lighted tunnel was waiting on you
We were there - anxiety, concern, pain.
Were you watching us from above?

If time heals all wounds, then
Why does your son feel so empty?
Why does your daughter weep so?
Why does your wife wonder what to do next?

Your life was grand - military, merchant,
Son, brother, father, grandfather, respected community man.
You will live in our hearts
Until we meet again.
