Just down the road....around the bend,
A happy couple taking their dog for a
walk;
From an open window, sounds of children
at play;
A nuthatch, headfirst, descending a tree
nearby.
A hurrying rabbit hops across your path.
On a screened in porch, kittens romp and
play,
A flash of red as a cardinal flies by;
Grass asparkle with the morning dew;
There are so many delightful things to
see;
Until we go there, we can't comprehend,
