A Dying Man's Last Wish
-- by Bernard Gluck - Copyright 1999 -- bgluck@earthlink.net

A man that I knew who was dying in bed
He smelled fresh-baked cookies and here's what he said,
"Before I will die, I will have me one more!"
So he slipped from the bed and he crawled on the floor.
He reached for a cookie; his hand got a CRACK!
"They're made for the FUNERAL. Now put that one BACK!"
