I find the truth
in Irish lyrics
of human depth
and spirit eternal
Of pain so great
I can but imagine
voices crying out
from beyond the gate.

Irish strength
lies in numbers
that survive
to celebrate
the true triumph
of human struggle to
shed the chains that dominate.

On the stage
of human dimension
hands on hips
and forward gaze
Her children stare steadfast
dancing past the challenge
of fates uncertain haze.
