Oliver is a yellow cat
In the heat of the day
He stretches out flat.
He loves to be stroked
And is always nearby
He'll talk in his language
And you cannot deny
He'll get his own way
And he won't be shy.
Poem from my book:
Hopp To Hope: A Journal of Recovery by Marian Hopp.
Poems written while recovering from five years of bouts with cancer.
