Our time is but a moment
When compared with eternity
A grain of sand on the beach
Just time to worship thee

Our life is but years
To fulfill all the rules
Making our branches fruitful
By using all our tools

We have a hope in Jesus
Going to heaven above
Spending an eternity with God
Where all is peace and love

Our hearts, our every thought
Should be on the Lord our God
Being faithful all our days
Walk where the saints have trod

When our time is no more
This world we leave behind
I pray we settle for God
He's the best we can find
