My Little Red Wagon
-- by Norb Walker -- Copyright 1997 -- sent by Thomas Fichtnertviper92@wolfenet.com

My little red wagon,
with 4 red wheels
I always pulled it
behind my heels.

It seemed so little
To everyone, but
To me it was
A great big truck.

I took it everywhere
That I went
For shopping, groceries,
And any event.

My dad and brother
Took their turn
To pull me in it
Till I could learn.

It was round in front
And square in back
The handle was long
And painted black.

I finally learned
To paddle it fast
I won all the races,
Alone never last.

In the winter, I parked it
In the shed
Had no chains,
Had to use a sled.
