Sea Winds
-- by Ellen Fair Copyright 1998 -- fairelle@gte.net

Sea-winds may forever search
And tides forever flow
In search of treasured moments
And secret winds that blow
Where once within the winds we vowed
Our love forever true
And in the breath of twilight
I gave my heart to you

Forever, Love, and ever, Love
The winds and tides and sea
Will whisper of the moment when
They brought your love to me
The winds shall keep our secret
Forever and a day
For neither time nor sea-winds
Can take our love away

Always is a long, long time
Forever tolls no sand
And just as winds hold secrets
You hold my heart, my hand
Some say love is a stormy sea
Rough waves that lash ashore
But we say love is endless
A sea called Evermore
