A couple couldn't remember things,
So, the doctor said, "Write it down."
While watching TV one evening
The little wife started to frown.

Husband, she said, I need some food
Will you please get some for me?
Yes, my love, whatever you want
I'll get it for you, dearie.

"Just ice cream, honey, that will do,
Remember to write it down!"
"Oh pooh! I can remember that much!"
He hollered back with a frown.

Wife hollers, "Add some strawberries!
Remember to write it down!"
"Oh pooh! I can remember that much!"
He hollered back with a frown.

Wife hollers, "Add some whip cream too!
Remember to write it down!"
"Oh pooh! I can remember that much!"
He hollered back with a frown.

Finally, husband brings wife the food,
"Here's your eggs dear wife, he boast!"
"I told you to write it down! she yelled,
All I asked for was some toast!"
