Sometimes
-- by Mary Lee Clay -- Copyright 1996 -- jpc@hutchtel.net

Sometimes I never love you,
But engage,
A pack of wolves and witches to enrage.

Sometimes I always love you,
Spring returns.
Within the twirling petals incense burns.

In time
I may hold noon and midnight over
And learn to live where blizzards temper clover.
