So Try Again
-- by Gerald Bosacher Copyright 1998 -- sent in by DrWryme@aol.com

Gods placed us in a moving sea
to see that tides return.
Tossed around by waves, a truth we see,
and one great lesson learn.

Twas not by one great crushing blow,
did sea it's triumph reach.
Insistent waves, both sure and slow,
turned rock to sandy beach.

Adversity with harsh contempt,
might beg that you submit.
Like waves, you must attempt,
again, and never quit.
