Don't Spite Your Face
-- by Norman Fikes - Copyright 1998 -- norbob@viptx.net

Don't cut off your nose to spite your face,
You'll find my friend it's hard to replace.
Don't stomp your toe, to punish yourself,
Don't ever put your brain on a shelf.
Don't ever stop before you are finished,
Don' t quit breathing 'till life is diminished.
Follow the example of Gods' smaller creature,
A hard shell it has and a wonderful teacher.
Not beautiful, not pretty, certainly not fair,
But until he sticks his neck out- the turtle gets no where!
