Stars In The Sky
-- by William G. Lyon -- Copyright 1997 -- lyon0013@inquo.net

The Sun it's gone down, and there's "Stars In The Sky"
There in front of the Moon, I now see and Eagle Fly by.
It must be night time for sure, because it really is dark,
If a Big Goblin said "Boo", lI'd just flip my own Cork.

But there's "Stars In The Sky", that gives me some light,
At least there's enough to see some Geese in their flight.
Now the sun it is gone, Yes, over yonder hill to the West,
Just like the Dear Little Robin, snuggled down in it's nest.

Soon morning will come, when all this sleeping is over,
Then we can watch the Sheep, romp in the Fields of Clover.
But, until the morning arrives, we must all go to sleep,
With those "Stars In The Sky" Indeed no monster shall Creep.
