Summer Sun
-- by Marian Hopp -- Copyright 1996 -- maribob@riverview.net

Early morning summer sun,
Glimmering on the brook
You light my new day,
You brighten my outlook.
The beauty of the trees
That screen the silvery sheaths
Is breathtaking, giving promise,
making me believe
That God is in His heaven
And all's right with the world.

Poem from my book:
Hopp To Hope: A Journal of Recovery by Marian Hopp.
Poems written while recovering from five years of bouts with cancer.
