Just down the road ....around the bend,
The warm days of spring are stil around,
Though lilacs and tulips are still in bloom,
Of the lovely spring flowers there will be
trace,
Petunias and roses will be the dominate
strains,
When thistledown is available, goldfinches
will nest,
The roar of lawn mowers will be around,
Swimming pools will be busy with children
at play;
The parks will be crowded...empty camp-
sites rare;
All too soon, however, dew will turn to
frost,
Autumn awaits....summer will come to an
end.
