Sure Glad It's Raining Today
-- by John J. Prusinowski - Copyright 1998 -- BigJohnP@email.msn.com

It's raining today
There's not much we can do
We can't go out and play
Can I make love to you?

We could go for a walk
Under wet and cloudy sky's
I'd rather stay here and talk
Or just gaze into your eyes

We could do a puzzle
But that's not my style
How about if we snuggle
Sure you can't stay a while?

Can I do as I please?
Don't give me a shrug!
Hope you're not going to be a tease?
I'll even settle for, just a hug

We could go to a movie
That's something we could miss
You sure look groovy
Can I have just one kiss?

We could watch TV
There's nothing good on
You know what would please me?
If you stayed until dawn

We could go out for lunch
Or maybe read a book
I'd rather stay here and play my hunch
Is that an encouraging look?

Can you stay the night?
Is that a yes you say?
I'll love you with all my might
Sure glad it's raining today
