Almighty God, holy God, creator of everything,
To you, petitions for ourselves and for others we bring.
May we seek you first in all we do, in everything we say,
Accept our praise and thanks as we humbly kneel to pray.

You know the secrets of our hearts, the numbers of our hair.
Each teardrop shed, for pain, death, sorrow, Jesus is there.
Though we are naught but finite beings gathered in this place,
In reverence and awe we bow before your holy throne of grace.

Thank you almighty God, for the life you have given each one,
For the trials we bear were born first, by your most holy son.
His death for our sins, love on the cross, faithfully, Jesus gave.
For each soul we pray, your will be done, as your will is to save.
