What Makes The Differenc?
-- by Bonnie J. Duckworth - Copyright 1998 -- bonniej@gte.net

Everyone’s diff''rent, so what do we say,
they can have fun in their own way?
We all have a choice as long as we live.
Be greedy, or to others give?

The friends we choose may change our course in life.
They may be good, or cause us strife.
It stands to reason, if I'm the chooser,
friends should not make me a loser.

So, think about this very carefully.
You can be a slave, or be free.
The difference lies in who you choose for friends,
good or bad, is how your life ends.

A good friend sticks closer than a brother.
They will watch out for each other.
The wayward care less what they do or where,
Too bad, cuz the devil may care!

This life is to short to waste recklessly,
when we could have eternity.
It's all in the difference of how we think,
get drunken, or just have a drink.
